Cheesy banter

I have read many from this author, but this ones misses for me. Banter between characters is cheesy & predictable.

A truly wonderful story!

4.5 stars This was an entertaining enjoyable story centering on past best friends Lulu and Leo! Its been ten years but somehow the past catches up with both of them! We learn some truths about the past friendships, and how things turned out for them both! Needless to say there is some sadness. Should it happen or should it not! When Lulu gets a contracted position where Leo works does the feelings bubbling to the surface get in the way of both their dreams of success? Or does the past haunt them both! The banter was great, the sage words of advice from certain characters incredibly insightful and the friendships created in this story will have you finish with a smile on your face! Sometimes someone important is just what you deserve in life and above all else a love everlasting! A truly wonderful story!

Brilliant

I am not sure where to start with this review, This was a listening experience that is difficult to explain. Honestly, you need to listen to this one and form your own opinions. Suffice it to say I have never listened to a book performed like this before. It was a magical experience listening to such a vastly talented group of narrators. At the heart of Birthday Suit is a poignant story about love, regret, forgiveness, laughter and friendship. Leo and Lulu have been friends for 10 years. She is the one who got away and married his best friend. Lulu has no idea that Leo has been in love with her since they first met and when she eventually finds out is absolutely blown away by the revelation. This story was at times highly emotional as the past kept coming back to haunt the present, however it totally got to me and I was blown away. I loved the extras at the end and do hope that there are more books about this fantastic group of friends and co workers being planned by Lauren Blakely?

Another Winner

Lauren Blakely never disappoints me and Birthday Suit is everything I expected and more it’s a fun witty read with just the right amount of emotional serious issues added in to keep you hooked. I really don’t want to write a review that’s either full of spoilers or just a copy of the blurb (you can read that for yourself) so I’m just going to tell you how this story made me feel.... This book has all the feels I want in a great read I laughed out loud, I giggled at the witty banter and I shed a few tears as my emotions went from happy to sad and back to happy again. The book is so much more than a story it’s a journey as we negotiate all the obstacles Lulu and Leo have to get past before they get the HEA they truly deserve. A heroine who is strong and fun to be around and a hero who tells you it as it is but that’s not all because all the characters in this book have depth and they are all easy to love. Loveable characters, sizzling chemistry and witty banter what more could you want oh I know the audible book that’s coming out soon and I for me can’t wait to listen to this great read. Another winner from this very talented author
